If the AT&T TV NOW channels list still seems a bit lackluster to you, keep in mind that you can also add premium channels like HBO, Cinemax, SHOWTIME, STARZ, Epix, and the Movies Extra Pack. These channels add premium content that is not available anywhere else. These premium channels are included in some of the AT&T TV NOW packages, and they can be added on to any of the others.
These premium channels also offer free 7-day trials, but you must also sign up for a AT&T TV NOW package (in other words, you can't just get HBO).

How does the AT&T TV NOW channels list compare?
For entertainment

AT&T TV NOW is pretty good. The entertainment offerings for the PLUS plan are relatively standard, except for missing two top channels: AMC and HGTV. Even though the MAX package has a higher monthly bill, the value-added through the inclusion of HBO Max and CINEMAX make the higher price worth it for fans of premium entertainment content.
For families with kids
AT&T TV NOW is average. While the PLUS and MAX plans do include standard kid and teen channels like Boomerang, the Cartoon Network, Disney, Disney Junior and Disney XD, more extensive family-friendly offerings are only available through the more expensive plans.
For sports lovers
AT&T TV NOW is decent. The service offers a range of national sports in its cheapest plan, but access to most sports channels require at least one step up to the $80/mo. MAX plan. As far as how AT&T TV NOW sports offerings stack up against competitors, fuboTV still pulls ahead in sheer number of live sports channels and international coverage in relation to monthly price.

AT&T TV NOW is standard. Like other live TV streaming services, AT&T TV NOW offers national and local coverage of top networks like ABC, Fox, NBC and CNN. While AT&T TV NOW has better local coverage than Sling TV and Philo, its rural coverage still isn't as robust as that of Hulu + Live TV.
For price
AT&T TV NOW is pricey. With the option to select up to 125+ channels, AT&T TV NOW offers a huge selection of content. But, the tradeoff is a monthly rate of $100+. Compared to the competition, AT&T TV NOW is simply far more expensive. However, the base packages (PLUS and MAX) offer decent value at more affordable monthly prices.

AT&T TV NOW offers all of the FOX Sports regional networks that are available throughout the United States. This will be very useful for following your local MLB, NBA, and NHL teams, as well as some college sports, nationally televised events, and more. Keep in mind that you'll only get the network(s) that are normally broadcast in your area, and availability may vary.

AT&T TV NOW offers most of the Comcast SportsNet (CSN) networks that are available throughout the United States. These channels are a must for keeping tabs on your local teams and events. You'll only get the network(s) that are normally available in your area, and again, availability may vary.

Keep in mind that, while AT&T TV NOW offers a lot of regional sports networks, you aren't guaranteed to get one as they are not available everywhere. Additionally, sometimes local/regional blackouts of certain events apply on these channels. AT&T TV NOW has a solid channel lineup across news, sports, entertainment and kids' shows, albeit at a higher price than competitors like Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV and Philo. However, the fact that Cloud DVR storage is included in every plan is a bonus that not every competitor can boast.
